Phosphorus copper (BCuP 2) low cost alloys are suitable for most copper to copper or brass joints where there is a good fit and the components are not subject to vibration or movement. This alloy is mainly used for copper and other non-ferrous copper alloys. This product is widely used in refrigeration equipment, air conditioning equipment, electrical conductors, copper and brass pipe fittings, and other copper and brass equipment. Due to its phosphorus content, this product is self-melting only in copper applications. Flux should be used when brazing brass or bronze with this product.
1. Eliminate the effective pores. Low melting point, good fluidity, better than ordinary red copper.
2. The welding process is good and the welding configuration is excellent.
3. Mechanical properties are stable and crack resistance is good.
The oil and oxide surfaces on the workpiece should be carefully cleaned prior to brazing. The recommended seam for the brazed joint is 0.03 to 0.075 mm. Operation: Heat as soon as possible during brazing to avoid deviation of Cu-P filler metal when heating is slow. Post-treatment: The color of the copper metal is recovered from the light gray after the workpiece is combined into 10% brazing.
